The Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) is about to commence a major tourism infrastructure upgrade in Kalbarri National Park funded through the Royalties for Regions program.

OVERVIEW
For the first 4 weeks from June 4 to July 5 – the park is closed to public access, however local tour operators still have permission to access the Z bend site.
- As we approach the school holidays various 3 - 4 day intervals (Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon) are open to all traffic to enter all sites
- In between these days and then for the rest of the project, access to Natures window, loop & Z bend is available by Local Tour Operators
- Completion date is scheduled for the 8th Oct 2013
YOU CAN STILL ACCESS THE NATIONAL PARK
Kalbarri Adventure Tours and Kalbarri Abseil are the two companies that will be operating in the region during the closure to the public.
A No-frill tour will be offered, still to be finalised - and all bookings can be made through the Kalbarri Visitor Centre.
